Entitled Kids

Where did I go wrong? I would have NEVER talked to my parents the way my daughter talks to us. It doesn't help that I have no support in my methods. Yeah, she's a teenager. Yeah, she thinks the world revolves around her....but I would have NEVER said the things she says to us to MY parents. Is it society? Is it ME? Am I too strict? Where do you draw the line? I'm tired of everyone making excuses for this behavior. If she is bored for ONE MINUTE...I apparently am supposed to remedy this......take her somewhere ; buy here something. Hell...BEFORE I was her age (16), I was making money, buying my OWN stuff, and WALKING (heaven forbid) to places if I had no ride. Okay...enough venting. I know I'm not the ONLY parent dealing with this crap. I WILL survive her teens years!
